Students ages 14 and up learn, practice and master the skills of covering the photography needs of a large event. Under the guidance and instruction of an experienced event photographer, the Family Conference Photography Team will give photography enthusiasts the opportunity to learn and practice hands-on through classroom instruction, self-guided assignments, and professional photo critique.
Team members will learn how to effectively capture the moment, create consistently bright and sharp images in difficult lighting situations, expedite the post-processing workflow to meet time-sensitive deadlines, develop Biblical perspective in the art of photography and much more!
The Photography Team runs on a part-day schedule allowing students to participate in Choir, Orchestra, and some of the Student Sessions.

Cost: $115 per participant ($100 early registration discount)
Required Items:
- DSLR or mirrorless camera (request to rent a camera from Lenspiration here)
- Laptop computer
- Pre-installed photo editing software such as Adobe Lightroom®
Skill Level: The Photography Team is designed to train photographers to go beyond the basics of photography and develop an understanding of how to artistically cover an event. If you are new to photography, consider taking Lenspiration’s Foundations of Photography Course before attending. You can take the course for free by joining the Lenspiration membership which is free for the first month.
