Conference Overview
The COMMIT Conference is designed to encourage mothers and daughters of all ages. Meet other mothers and daughters with similar goals in their relationship with God. Enjoy a special time of learning and challenge from Scripture. Step away from the busyness of life to refocus on Christ. Take some time to intentionally cultivate your relationship with your daughters.
Note: This conference coincides with the ALERT Cadet Service Camp taking place in Big Sandy.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can younger daughters attend?
Absolutely! We recommend that girls be able to sit through several sessions each day.
Can I bring my nursing baby?
Yes! While no special accommodations will be made for nursing mothers, you are welcome to bring your little one along.
What is the conference dress code?
The overall guideline for conference attire is conservative and modest in style. Ladies are encouraged to wear skirts that cover the knee when sitting and standing.
Is transportation to and from the airport available?
Yes! Airport pickup will be available from the Dallas/Fort Worth, Dallas/Lovefield, Longview, and Tyler airports. Flights need to arrive by noon on Thursday, November 11. Departures should be scheduled after 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 14. If you need airport transportation, please fill out our Travel Information Form no later than November 8.
Can I stay an extra day?
Yes! Additional nights and meals can be reserved by calling 903-636-9201.

Where to Stay During the Conference
The International ALERT Academy, owned and operated by IBLP, offers numerous dorm rooms. All dorm rooms are furnished at the beginning of the week with linens and towels. Rooms can be reserved online or by calling 903-636-9201.
Dorm Rooms (starting at $75 per night)
Our Guest Lodges are two-story, dormitory style buildings. Each wing of four rooms shares a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The lodges have a living room and recreation/meeting room on each floor. Linens and towels are provided.
Private Rooms have access to their own bathroom, while Semi-Private rooms share bathroom accommodations with the adjoining room (ideal for larger families or for sharing with friends). Both room types hold a double bed, bunk, and single—sleeping 5. “Dormitory Style” Semi-Private Rooms hold four twin beds. Rooms sleep 4–5 people; maximum occupancy: 7.
Please note that there are no elevators in these buildings. If you are unable to use stairs, you’re welcome to request a room on the first floor.
Bunk Rate ($20 per night)
Our Bunk Rate allows you to share a room with another mother and daughter(s), thus getting to know them better during the week

Available Conference Meal Options
Delicious lunch & dinner meals are available for $8/adult (ages 12+) and $6/child (ages 4-11). A continental breakfast is available for $6/adult and $4/child.

Individual Meal Pricing
If you have other plans for food, and you just want to supplement with a couple of meals, feel free to purchase individually.
Breakfast:
Ages 4–11: $4 per meal
Ages 12 and older: $6 per meal
Lunch & Dinner:
Ages 4–11: $6 per meal
Ages 12 and older: $8 per meal

Mother and one daughter: $100 (includes Saturday brunch)
Mother and two or more daughters: $150 (includes Saturday brunch)
Registrations after October 31 will be subject to a $30 late fee.
