21-Day January Prayer Challenge
An opportunity to start January 2025 with a focus on prayer
Challenge Overview
In I Timothy 2:1 we read of the priority God puts on prayer in the life of the believer: “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men” This exhortation highlights to us God’s desire that we put Him first in our life by making prayer a priority in our daily schedule.
It is important to note the words first of all in this verse. This phrase highlights the importance of prioritizing prayer as first in everything—including the first of the year. In light of this, we want to invite you to join us for a 21-Day Prayer Challenge in January 2025. Every day of the first three weeks of the new year we want to encourage you, as well as ourselves, to spend at least one hour in prayer.

Suggested Prayer Guide

An hour of prayer
During Christ’s intense prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane, His disciples fell asleep. He then said to them, “What, could ye not watch with me one hour?” (Matthew 26:40). Many will find it difficult to spend an hour in prayer until they follow a schedule such as the pictured prayer wheel. Spend at least five minutes on each topic, but allow the Holy Spirit to extend any one.
