The director of ATI and the Sound Foundations course, David Waller is an energetic song leader and church musician on a mission to equip young people will skills to serve God with all their hearts. Raised in a large family, David and his siblings enjoyed playing instruments and singing through their early years. His parents encouraged them to use their skills for the Lord, even if all they could do was “make a joyful noise.” The Waller children enjoyed doing special music for church as well as performing for retirement centers, and as they grew older, they participated in numerous Family Conference choirs and orchestras.
David was inspired to greater levels of leadership and equipped with further skills for music ministry while attending Sound Foundations in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 2003. Since then, he has used the training he received in many capacities; he desires to equip the next generation of musicians with the skills to make music that glorifies the Lord. David enjoys playing the violin as well as leading the music at his local church as their minister of music. He and his wife Priscilla are blessed with four children and desire to raise them to love and serve the Lord.
At Sound Foundations, David Waller present instruction in congregational song leading and music ministry planning, as well as coordinating devotional times and facilitating the logistics as course director.
