Anna Ferraro

From her background as a church pianist, award-winning classical performer, and educator and coach for pianists in her home studio and across the nation, Anna Ferraro is passionate about equipping students with musical skills to serve Christ and make His truth known. With over eight years of experience as a private piano instructor, Anna thrives on engaging with young musicians and finding creative ways to help them learn and achieve musical breakthroughs in their performance.

Anna studied music theory with Dr. M. Dean Kincaid of the American Conservatory of Music, piano performance with Maryna Meshcherska from the Moscow Conservatory, and holds her B.A. in music from Thomas Edison State University. Other instructors have included masterclasses with Brenna Berman (Taubman Approach, of The Golandsky Institute), Dr. Victor Skylar (International Academy of Music), and Dr. Michael Coonrod (Interlochen Arts Academy). To the world of church music, Anna brings an exciting blend of classical skill and repertoire to her creative hymn improvisations. Her solo albums include Haven of Rest (2016), Where Glory Dwells (2017), and Redemption Dawns (2018). At Sound Foundations, Anna will be presenting classes in hymn improvisation, masterclasses on piano performance, Scripture songwriting, working as a one-on-one piano practice coach, and assisting as the course coordinator.
