Aaron Baker

A skilled vocalist, pianist, arranger, and church music leader, Aaron Baker has a heart to equip the next generation of church musicians with skills for ministry. Since 1994, Aaron has been actively involved in church music as a pianist, choir director, and congregational song leader. Already his legacy of twenty-five years of teaching private music lessons has produced countless young musicians who have been positively influenced by his outstanding skill, humble heart, and the joyful energy he brings to every teaching experience. In addition to serving as the Assistant Pastor at Trinity Baptist Church (Abita Springs, Louisiana) for sixteen years, Aaron is currently the Minister of Music at North Belt Baptist Church in Humble, Texas. He has served on the faculty of three Bible colleges—two in the Philippines and one in Louisiana—and holds a B.A. in Theology and an M.A. in Sacred Music.

Aaron’s favorite times are spent with his wife and their six children. Together they enjoy singing, conducting Five Day Bible Clubs, and visiting national parks. For more information about Aaron and his album of vocal, piano, and orchestral music (My Songs in the Night), visit www.aaronloveslaura.com.

At Sound Foundations, Aaron Baker will be presenting classes on the history of western music, music theory, vocal performance, Biblical musical discernment, and choral training.
