Born in Australia, Jacob Evans commenced his piano studies at the age of 8 under local tutors. Having completed his Grade 4 in piano, he began professional tuition which saw him through both his Associate (AMusA) and Licentiate (LMusA) diplomas. He also commenced the Cello at the age of 12. Jacob completed a Bachelor of Music in 2019, majoring in performance on the piano. He currently teaches piano and cello at Evans Music School which he has been doing with his sister Taylah since 2012, and also enjoys song writing, arranging and composition for instrumental and voice, both classical and gospel music. He also enjoys playing the piano for the worship services at his church, and is looking forward to the opportunity to be able to share his experience on these topics with his students.
