An experienced teacher, Isabel Lambert has mentored children, teens, and adults in the Word of God for over sixty years. She grew up in a pastor’s home and was greatly influenced by her mother, who often gave her opportunities to teach younger children. After graduating from Bob Jones University, Miss Lambert taught science and math in its high school academy for ten years.
Miss Lambert later wrote for Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E) to develop their first chemistry curriculum. She was introduced to IBLP when A.C.E. required all their writers to attend the Basic Seminar. Once the A.C.E. project was completed, she served as staff for the Dallas IBLP office for twenty-one years.
God gave her the idea to create The Richest Christian Game and the Pictures from Proverbs to encourage homeschoolers to memorize and meditate on Scripture while learning applications to everyday situations. Miss Lambert is active in Garland Bible Church and serves as pianist and children’s class teacher. She also enjoys teaching piano, with an emphasis on hymn playing.
