Event description

Sound Foundations was developed for the purpose of helping young people develop music ministry skills as well as Biblical instruction in God-honoring music. The course is for young people ages 15 and older who desire to grow in their walk with the Lord and develop skills such as: orchestration, song and hymn writing, church music directing, hymnology, Biblical basis for worship, and conducting, to name a few. This will take place in Big Sandy, Texas, July 15–August 3, 2019. The last week of Sound Foundations will be in conjunction with the Big Sandy Family Conference.

Susannah Hulin

  • Susannah has been blessed to study music since a very young age. She enjoys playing piano and viola for her church and events with siblings.

David Waller

  • Raised in a large family, David and his siblings enjoyed playing instruments and sing.

Brian Fox

  • Brian has been a vocal and instrumental soloist, member of numerous small and large vocal and instrumental organizations, and the director of numerous orchestras and choirs.

Aaron Baker

  • Aaron has been actively involved in church music as a pianist, choir director and congregational song leader since 1994.

Carol Blair

  • Carol Blair grew up singing hymns in Sunday school, church, youth group, and Bible camp in the summer.

Anna Ferraro

  • Anna Ferraro is a pianist on a mission to glorify God and edify others through excellent and uplifting music.
