Welcome to Excel, a dynamic discipleship and service program that exists to help young ladies pursue Biblical womanhood with excellence and grace. At this program, expect a broad variety of topics that all bring us towards one goal: knowing God intimately, and serving Him wholeheartedly. As we pursue Christ, we’ll emphasize discipleship and spiritual disciplines. As we pursue fruitful service, we’ll enjoy training in dozens of skills – from essay writing and budgeting, to sewing, hospitality, basic first aid, and everything in between. Available for single young ladies ages 16 and older, we invite you to join us for this year’s class!

  • On-Site Class: September 8 – October 11, 2020

  • Early-Bird Tuition: $2,750 (before July 1) 
  • Regular Tuition: $2,950 (after July 1)

  • SPECIAL: Save 10% on tuition when registering an additional sibling for the same class!

Tuition includes: 

  • Pre-Class Study (5 weeks): develop spiritual disciplines, complete weekly homework, enjoy video lessons, and participate in team video calls!
  • On-Site (5 weeks): join like minded young ladies for five weeks of practical skills training, personal discipleship, and ministry opportunities.
  • Tuition includes all curriculum, materials, and five weeks of meals/lodging during on-site class.

What will Pre-Class Study look like? 

This portion of Excel is designed to help you develop spiritual disciplines and jumpstart you on some of the great course materials that will await you onsite! During Pre-Class Study, we will also have a chance to get to know your classmates, and begin relationships as sisters in Christ that will hopefully last a lifetime. 


What happens during the Pre-Class Study? 

Pre-Class Study requires approximately 3-4 hours per week. 

In that time, you will:

  • Watch the unit video: 30 minutes
  • Read study chapter and complete questions: 1-2 hours
  • Participate in a group meeting: 1 hour
  • Enjoy a personal accountability call: 15-30 minutes


What is the minimum age for young ladies to attend Excel? 

Young ladies need to be 16 years old by the start of the course.


What is the course content? 

  • Expect a broad variety of topics that all bring us towards one goal: knowing God deeply, and serving Him wholeheartedly. As we pursue Christ, we’ll emphasize discipleship and spiritual disciplines. As we pursue fruitful service, we’ll enjoy training in dozens of skills - from essay-writing and other academic classes, to practicing elegant hospitality, first aid, and everything in between. 


Here’s a sampling of what you’ll see at Excel: 

  • Discipleship: emphasizing Scripture memorization, meditation, prayer, journaling, and personal accountability. 
  • Personal Growth: discussions and sessions on Biblical femininity, relationships, identity in Christ, spiritual gifts, and ministry! 
  • Academics: Classes in music, penmanship, history, essay writing, letter writing, geography, and more! 
  • Hospitality: Etiquette, menu planning, table settings, flower arranging, and the art of conversation!
  • Personal Care: Hygiene, making style and modesty work for you, exercise, diet, and nutrition.
  • Life skills: Basic first aid, electrical, auto, and plumbing work.
  • Service projects: ministering in churches and nursing homes, serving various departments on the IBLP campus in practical areas, and more! 


What will a typical day in Excel look like? 

Expect a smooth flow of routine. As we work to build spiritual disciplines and consistency in how we learn and work, we’ll also be having a lot of fun along the way. 

Here is a sample weekday:

Evenings: homework, sessions, or personal time 

On the weekends, young ladies will have extra rest time, as well as opportunities to do ministry projects, write letters and call home, and enjoy fellowship together. 


How soon will I know if my application is accepted? 

After filling out the application form and emailing it in, our admissions team will be in touch via email within 3-5 business days to set up a phone interview to talk further, or to confirm your acceptance into the class. When your application and/or interview process is completed, we will send an email to confirm your enrollment as well as a payment link for your tuition. 


Can I make separate payments for my tuition? 

Yes! We would be happy to work with you on a payment plan for your tuition. Please contact us so we can create a plan that will work for you. 


Is there a discount for multiple siblings attending the same class?

Yes! If multiple siblings enroll for the same class, each additional sibling can receive a 10% discount on their tuition. For example, the sibling #1 will pay regular tuition, sibling #2 will receive 10% off of their tuition.
